Thanks for stopping by! I am so excited to officially be launching the Anemone Events blog, where I will be sharing a little bit of everything - ranging from inspiration posts to best practices/planning tips to wedding day recaps of my couples' magical events.
My name is Sarah and I am the owner of/heart and soul behind Anemone Events. I have been obsessed with all things wedding-related since I can remember! I was 1000% that girl who had her entire wedding planned well before ever being in a relationship.
Hands down, the best part of my job is getting to meet and build lasting relationships with the most amazing couples (and vendors too!). To kick us off, here is a quick introduction so you can learn a little bit more about me and I look forward to getting to know you as well!
In college, I studied and obtained a BS degree in Business/HR Management. I chose this focus because of my love for people and helping/serving them. I worked in the corporate world for years before ultimately launching Anemone Events (initially as a side hustle, but within a year or so, it turned into my full time career).
My husband and I were originally set to get married in May of 2020, however when the pandemic hit, we ended up moving and essentially entirely re-planning our day. Although tough, this experience taught me the importance of rolling with the punches in this industry and the value of being able to pivot.
We welcomed our son in the spring of 2022 and ever since the day he was born he has been our entire world.
Anemone Events celebrated one year of life back in May of 2022, and I am looking forward to celebrating more and more as this business continues to evolve.
