Salvatore's Event Venue & St. Clement Church Wedding | Bella + Billy

From their traditional Catholic wedding ceremony to their elegant, classic reception at Salvatore’s just steps away, Bella and Billy truly thought of every last detail throughout their wedding planning journey. It was my honor and pleasure to get to bring their vision to life day-of as their wedding coordinator.

The temperatures were perfect and there was not a cloud in the sky on this memorial day weekend set in Chicago. A St. Clement Church wedding ceremony TRULY does not need even one touch of décor as the grand, exquisite interior speaks for itself. Their reception venue was intimate and classic, and paired with the couple’s personal décor touches, radiated a timeless elegance. There were a variety of breathtaking white floral arrangements with lush greenery distributed throughout the space.

The beautiful aesthetic of this carefully curated day was memorable as were the variety of personal touches that the couple pulled off without a hitch - from reading handwritten letters from each other in the morning before seeing each other to a “history” display of stationary from friends’ and family members’ weddings who had gone before them to personal notes written to each guest on the back of their escort card… truly no detail went overlooked!

I admired how Billy and Bella stayed true to themselves in each of their wedding-related decisions, foregoing a variety of traditions that simply didn’t feel like them: traditional best man and maid of honor roles, formal cake cutting, wedding party grand entrances, etc. As you probably know by now, I am a huge believer that your day should feel true to you, and will always advocate that couples should let go of traditions and pressures that do not feel right for them.

Their band played classic music selections throughout the evening, keeping the party going all night long. Their wedding party rocked fun heart shaped glasses and guests were provided sandals for a comfortable shoe swap. You could truly feel the love between the couple and radiating among their family and friends throughout the whole event - Billy and Bella’s wedding day was most definitely one to remember!
